OMO Bag
November 2016 A piece developed from ‘Transformation Bags’, for production in collaboration with Indonesian designer Fani Atmanti. Omo bag is made using upcycled wood. The native wood is traditionally used by villagers to build their homes or to carve into ornamental sculptures and figurines. Omo hopes to keep traditional craft relevant to a homogenising global culture.
